DESCRIPTION:DAVE STONE SCHOLARSHIP\n\nGENERAL INFORMATION\, INSTRUCTIONS\, AND APPLICATION 2024\n\n \n\nGENERAL INFORMATION\n\n              Two $2\,000 scholarships will be awarded.\n\n              Award money can be used at any university\, college\, or post-secondary institution.  It will be sent directly to the school once the student is enrolled and provides their student ID to the Chamber office.\n\n              To qualify for the scholarship\, you must be an Erie High School graduating senior or an Erie resident graduating senior attending any high school.\n\n              You must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school GPA\, verified by an attached official transcript.\n\n              The scholarship committee members place an emphasis on community service.  While we understand students participate in service-related high school activities\, we only consider community activities that are not related to high school clubs\, events\, or group functions.\n\n              You must turn in your application for this scholarship to the Erie Chamber of Commerce office by 5 p.m. on Wednesday\, March 20\, 2024.\n\n              The scholarship committee will interview finalists for the award in April.                \n\nFinalists will be notified by Chamber of Commerce officials to arrange interview times.\n\n              Scholarship winners will be notified and recognized at the Dave Stone Scholarship Awards Ceremony at the Erie Chamber of Commerce in early May.\n\n              Children of current scholarship committee members are not eligible for this award.\n\n              Follow all application instructions.
