\nThe Erie Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to this year'\;s annual Parade of Lights!
\nJoin us for this dazzling parade as it travels through downtown Erie.
\nCome out and enjoy our downtown area\, local school choirs\, free Carriage Rides and a visit with Santa just before the Parade of Lights! \; Enjoy Open Skating!

\nVolunteer Opportunities: \; \;
\nVolunteers are an integral part of the Chamber and help to make our events successful. \; There are several events throughout the year that Volunteers are needed.
\nVolunteering is a great way to get to know business members and other members of the community.
\nThe Chamber events can also offer great community service hours for students who may need volunteer hours for school or other organizations.
\n
\nLocal Choirs Singing \;- 4:00pm-6:00pm
\nChoirs will be inside Orchard Community Church at \;470 Briggs Street.
\n
\nEnjoy some hot chocolate and snacks while listening to these wonderful school choirs!
\n
\nFree Carriage Rides \;- \; 4:00 - 6:00pm
\nHop on a carriage \;before the parade begins.
\n
\nVisit with Santa and Mrs. Claus \;- 4:00 \;- 6:00pm \;

\nFood for Sale \;- TBD
\nFood vendors will be located at the corner of Briggs &\; Wells Streets. \;
\nOrchard Community Church - 470 Briggs Street - Free Hot Chocolate\, snacks and restrooms
\nLook for the Calvary Bible Church tent (on Briggs Street) also serving Free Hot Chocolate! \;

\nThere will be \;Lost Children and First Aid tents located next to the DJ by Fox Dog Coffee on Briggs Street.

\nParking
\nParking is available in the town along residential streets\, in \;the parking lot at the Erie Methodist Church on Holbrook Street just west of Town Hall and in the Town Hall parking lot at the corner of Holbrook and Cheesman. Do not block fire hydrants. \; There is no event parking in the alleys as we need free and clear access for First Responders. \; \;

\nImportant ADA Parking Information: There are limited handicap parking spaces available in the downtown area. \;Handicap spaces are limited so these are on a first come\, first serve basis. \; There are very limited \;handicap spaces behind Orchard Community Church \;at Moffat Street and in the parking lot south of Coal Creek Park on Kattell Street. You must be in these locations by 5:45pm as access will be unavailable after that time. \; \; \;Please be aware that you will not be able to move your vehicle during the parade.

Parade Route
\n\nThe Parade of Lights will travel north on Briggs St. from Maxwell Ave. to Cheesman St.

\n\nPerry St. to Erie Parkway will start to open as Parade clears

\n\nPost Office Access (Until 6:00 PM)
\n\nAccess the Post Office by traveling north on Kattell St.\, then west on Moffat St. Continue through the alley heading north into the Post Office parking lot. Exit the same way you entered.
\n\n\;
\n\nOnce the parade begins at 6:30 PM\, there will be no vehicle access in or out for residents and businesses east of Briggs St. For emergencies\, please call 911.
