CO-Create Erie - Makerspace at Schofield Farm

Karen Hofmeister is a graphic designer, illustrator, entrepreneur, artist advocate, and community leader who has called Erie home since 2011. As Founder and Chief Creative of Red Doodle Creative (reddoodlecreative.com), she brings more than 18 years of experience in branding, marketing, illustration, and visual communications. Karen has served as President of the Downtown Erie Business Association, helping shape the Downtown Erie brand. She is also an active member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce.

Karen is passionate about creating opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn, make, and share skills. As President of CO-Create Erie, she developed the organization’s brand and uses her expertise in leadership, marketing, and nonprofit development to help build a vibrant, community-focused makerspace that will serve Erie for generations to come.
