CO-Create Erie to offer pop-up workshops

The quonset building that will house CO-Create Erie is officially under construction after the budget was approved by Town Council on Tuesday, August 12.

As our fundraising is in full force, we would like to offer pop-up workshops this fall and winter to start generating revenue before we open to help fund the tools and equipment that we still need to purchase.

I would like to ask if any local business would be interested in partnering with us to host some of these workshops. We are looking for spaces that can accommodate either 10 or 20 students, plus an additional three instructors and/or volunteers on evenings and weekends. Depending on your space, we can tailor the activities based on mess level allowed. For example, if you need us to be extremely clean, we can offer something like modern cross stitch, macrame, or other activity that creates minimal mess. We will always clean up afterwards and lay down protective surfaces, but if there is more flexibility we can also offer other fun stuff like specific clay or painting projects that create minimal mess.
