Erie Bike Shop CyclErie Opens Second Store on Main Street in Downtown Longmont

Erie-based, family-owned bike and eBike shop opens second location at 724 Main Street in downtown Longmont

ERIE, Colo., October 29, 2026 - CyclErie, the family-owned bike and eBike sales and service shop in Erie, celebrated the grand opening of its second store on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with a ribbon cutting at 724 Main Street, Suite A, in downtown Longmont, hosted with the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce.

The event drew a large crowd of customers, neighbors, downtown business owners, Chamber members and families. Guests toured the store and service department, met staff, and took test rides through nearby Roosevelt Park.

CyclErie Longmont opened in May 2026. A large share of CyclErie's customers already came from Longmont and nearby communities to the north, which made Longmont a natural place to expand. The Erie store remains CyclErie's home base, and the Longmont store adds three full-time jobs, two of them filled by longtime Longmont residents.

"We picked this spot because it works for riders. There's parking out front, Roosevelt Park is a block away, and the downtown streets have wide bike lanes and big old trees, so it's a great place to test ride," said Dan Johnson, co-owner of CyclErie. "We're keeping it local. That means local jobs, tax dollars that stay in our communities, and people working here who live and ride here."
